USCIS Announces Premium Processing Expansion for Form I-539 Applicants

New Delhi, Jun 15 (LAB) The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has recently made an exciting announcement that’s bound to make waves in the immigration sector. Beginning June 13, 2023, the USCIS is expanding its premium processing services to include applicants filing Form I-539, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status. This change is especially pertinent for individuals seeking to change their status to F-1, F-2, M-1, M-2, J-1, or J-2 nonimmigrant status.

New The Visa Bulletin is released monthly by the Department of State and is used to determine when a sponsored foreign national can submit the final step of the green card process, or if already pending, when the final step can be adjudicated.

As predicted in the June Visa Bulletin, the EB-3 final action date for India retrogresses in July, a whopping 3.5 years, to January 1, 2009, for both EB-3 and EB-3 Other Workers. EB-1 holds on February 1, 2022, and EB-2 at January 1, 2011.

All Other Countries: EB-3 retrogresses 4 months to February 1, 2022. EB-1 remains current; EB-2 holds until February 15, 2022; and EB-3 Other Workers holds until January 1, 2020./LAB/SNG/
