Gita Jayanti is an Indian festival that happens every year on the 11th day of the polished moon in Margaseersha month. India is a land of religion and culture. Every day is a festival here. Gita Jayanti festival is the birthday of Bhagavad Gita. It is one of the most popular festivals of Hindu culture. Every year in between December to January millions of people gather to join to participate in this event.

Gita Jayanti Schedule of 2018:

7th December 2018 -23rd December 2018 in Kurukshetra Haryana
Gita Mahotsav Programme. The event will continue till 23rd December 2018. People can attend several holy speeches, songs, Bhajans and other events which will start from early morning till late at night. All events will be followed by Prasadum, Langar.
How to reach Kurukshetra
By Car- Kurukshetra is well connected by road from Delhi, From Chandigarh, or from Punjab or Via Gurgaon and within Haryana. It has very nice roads and highways.
By Train-There are several trains connecting from many cities of India.
By Air- There is a flight between New Delhi to Chandigarh from there one can reach by car or a bus.
By Bus-The Haryana Roadways buses ply and connect from almost all parts of India

Location – The people have to take a car or public transport from Delhi to Kurukshetra. The place is located at National Highway 1. The normal drive takes 3 hours from Delhi. The visitors can take a direct train from Delhi to Kurukshetra railway station.
